Diaper Change

Dad watched the kids the other day for a few hours so I could run and see some friends! Looks like he needs some practice changing some diapers!

He managed to put it on backwards! Fred and I thought it was funny!

Visiting Cousins!

Last week Michelle and Alex were in Minnesota, so what is normally a 20+ drive to see them was only 4 hours...we decided last minute to take a quick day trip up there! Kreighton was a little disappointed...she thought when we told her we were going to see Aunt Michelle that meant she got to wear flip-flops....sorry sweetie....not this time!

Yesterday my Dad and I took the kids to CR to watch the parade. Fred was supposed to go, but he is busy so he decided to stay home and work!

The kids had a great time, we went to Shannon's apartment 1st and had pizza and cookies then got to walk to the parade, it was a pretty nice day! We got to sit with the Lange girls, the kids had fun seeing all the different floats and getting candy- even though the big kids stood in front of them and took most of the candy!

Weekend Fun!

We had nothing planned for the weekend, which I love, but at the same time I cannot stay home all weekend and do nothing!

So we took the kids to the museum/aquarium in Dubuque. The kids had fun, however, it was more of a museum than an aquarium and it was a bit over the kids' heads! But we still had fun and Kreighton got home and said she had a "magnificent time"

Don't let Kreighton's summer dress fool you....it is still cold in Iowa and she had a sweater on, but HAD to take it off the second we got inside!

Mommy and Kyle before his surgery he did great and didn't shed a tear the whole time...until later in the afternoon when Grandma Sharon came to see him, he did not want her to leave!

Kyle's surgery and ONE night away!

Kyle goes in tomorrow to get his adenoids out and tubes in. We are ready for the surgery to be over and for Kyle to feel better! He has been punked all week! Kreighton is spending the night at Grandma and Grandpa Moroney's because we have to leave at 5:30 am. She was so excited for this and packed all afternoon!
