Brothers....

Two mornings a week it is just these two at home....I thought these pictures were so cute of them "playing together"

Kael was loving all the attention he was getting from Kyle!
Kyle was so excited he could make Kael laugh!

Flying Kites!

So I have learned to loathe Iowa wind...I did not really ever notice it growing up but not that I am "old" it drives me nuts

-It makes my runs more hard and I am A LOT less motivated to run!
-It literally blows my kids over
-It makes it seem so much colder

Just to name a few....

BUT the one thing it is good for is FLYING kites!  The kids were so excited to do this!  Especially Kreighton...Kyle also hates the wind so he was a little less thrilled about being outside in it!

Thankful Bappa Craig showed up...trying to fly a kite with the two older ones and Kael made things a little difficult!

Poor Kael was put in "confinement" again!

Kreighton got hers up and going!

Musical!

So I am sure Kreighton will not be happy with this post once she can actually read....
But my sister Katie (Aunt KiKi) was very nice and took Kreighton to a musical at Will's school...Kreighton was so excited and picked out her most favorite dress-I think she was most excited about a night away from her crazy brothers!  Well she did not nap that day and the play was longer than I thought it would be...sooooo by the time Miss Kreighton got home she was EXHAUSTED!!! And I caught it all on camera!

Trying to get a picture of Kreighton and Katie! Devastated because she was hoping that her cousin Will was going to spend the night!

NOT happy!

The best picture I could get of her!

I think she was asleep before her head hit the pillow!

Seed Bag Jumping!

The kids LOVE to go out in the Pioneer Shed and play while Daddy and Bappa are working (and I like it because it means a quiet house)

I went out last week to see what kept them entertained for so long!

Jump to me!

To me it looks like a recipe for stitches and broken bones!  But Fred said he grew up doing the same thing and he turned out ok....

Soccer

This March Kreighton played soccer...she loved going...and running around!

Perfect Spot for Kyle to play with tractors!

FANS!

Teammates!

With their siblings!

Roger

This is the name of Kyle's new cousin.  At least that is what he tells us...he has started to talk about his cousin Roger the last few days.  He works with his Daddy in the forklift shed (that is what Kyle calls the Pioneer Building) he fixes things with his tools and helps Daddy drive the tractor.  He keeps telling me he that Roger is his friend and cousin and he says "Mom he is really nice" I have no idea where Kyle came up with the name Roger, but I we go with it....

What a Week....

I am glad it is Sunday and a start to a new week....we had far too many doctor visits last week!
This is how it went...

Sunday-Kael had a fever wouldn't eat or sleep, thought for sure it was an ear infection so Fred ran him to Urgent Care where he had a red throat and fluid in one ear, put him on amoxicillian to prevent an ear infection and for his red throat.

Monday-Kreighton had her pre-op physical for tubes she was getting on Thursday and took Kael along (sometimes I do not trust those Urgent Care doctors) but after looking over Kael he agreed with the Urgent Care doc.  Then I had was having major hip pain so I went and saw Dr. Shah where she ordered me an x-ray to rule out anything major.

Tuesday- I had an x-ray (which everything turned out fine) but Kael's fever spiked and he seemed to be having problems breathing, I ran him into the clinic in Winthrop and ended up being there for 2 hours where they ran tests on him and gave him breathing treatments.

Wednesday-Kael doing much better but Dr. Shah wanted to make sure so I took him back in to see her and he got a clean bill of health and we were able to stop the breathing treatments.

Thursday-Kreighton got her 3rd set of tubes where she was very brave and hardly shed a tear.  Her Dr. said she had one ear clear full of fluid and she would be able to hear and feel much better.  When we got home she kept asking me "Mom am I talking loud?  Do I sound funny?"  So I am sure now that she can hear better she will listen to us much better...right?

Friday- I thought we were in the clear until I looked at Kyle and his eyes were glazed over and sure enough he had a fever.

Saturday-Took Kyle to the Dr. where he tested positive for strep throat and was pretty miserable all day.

And not to mention I had to go to the physical therapy and to the chiropractor a few different times!
Oh AND this is a pretty busy time for Fred AND I can't do anything high impact on my hip which mean no running....and the weather is nice and it is driving me crazy not to be able to run!

So here is to a new AND healthy week!
