Why we love Aunt Sissy!

My sister Shannon said they other day that I do not appreciate all that she does for me...so just to prove why we love her I thought I would write about it from my kids point of view!



1. Sissy is always so excited to see us and we are excited to see her to!


2. She always buys us fun stuff and cute clothes!
3. She gives my mom and dad and break and watches us!


4. Whenever we have doctor appt she meets us and helps my mom out!


5. She is always willing to snuggle with us!


6. She always comes and sees us if we are sick!

Growing up my siblings and I and my two cousins Liz and Jenny would always love getting to spend the night at my grandparents house in Delhi. Grandma and Grandpa would take us out to eat in Delhi and we get to stay up late and do whatever we wanted! So this year we decided why not continue the tradition! So all six of us plus four spouse's had a sleepover! We did the same as what we were used to growing up! Played games and went out to eat in Delhi, we had a blast and definitely a tradition we want to continue! However next time when we bring an air mattress I will have to make sure it is bigger than a twin!

My parents had all three grandkids and I think they all had fun there! They were even brave and took all three to church!

Tonsils and DOUBLE ear infection!

Last week was a long one...we were in the ER with Kyle twice and after a few tests being run they are treated him with a double ear infection, poor guy. I am just hoping he not following is his sisters footsteps and we will end up with tubes and tonsils removed! Ear infection has not slowed him down...I think it may have made him faster!

Kreighton had her tonsils removed on Thursday she is doing ok with the recovery. The first weekend was a rough one...she did not want to eat or drink, but is coming around and doing much better!

From some reason this did not post, but Kyle was back at the doctor on Tuesday and his ear infection is still around, so we are on more meds and hoping this one works!

Fred and I went to Vegas and it was a blast we had a ton of fun! We missed the kids terribly! I called home on Sunday morning before we were leaving and my dad over and over kept telling me how Kreighton was fine....my mother's intution kicked in and I could tell there was something wrong! I made my mom tell me what was going on...she had gotten sick at my cousin Maria's house, I felt bad for her AND for The Youngbluts! I was more than ready to get home to take care of her. I took her to the doctor on Monday and found out her tonsils were so big that she was gagging on them and throwing up! They put her on steriods and moved her surgery up a week! The medicine shrunk her tonsils but made her mood swings out of control! But how do you not give a sick two year old what she wants? So this week has been a bit of a struggle and Fred and I are ready for the tonsils to be out and to have our little girl back!
Since we have gotten back from Vegas Kreighton's new favorite game is to pack bags for her Kyle to go to Vegas. She picks out toys for Kyle to take and dresses for her to wear!
