Camping at Turtle Creek

The Saturday morning after Kyle's Birthday Celebration we woke up to this.....

A LOT of water!
Then we got a knock on the door that they were evacuating the campground.....WHAT??????  We thought we were finally going to have a hot camping weekend with no WATER....but we were all sadly disappointed!

We also had this....a flat tire :(

We were not going to let the rain get us down we just decided to move to higher campground :)
So we buzzed over to Turtle Creek and there was room for us all!  And high enough that the rain water could not get us!  I was a little skeptical because there was not a lot to do there....however the kids made their own fun!

They found this!

Who needs a playground when you have a mud hole!

And even better that he thinks it is funny!

It really did kind of stink we had to pack up our campers and move them....but I would give Turtle Creek two thumbs up!
