Easter

We had a busy Easter weekend...James, Bridget, and Clara were home from Minnesota so we were all very excited to see them! Saturday morning Bridget and I took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt at the golf course, then Bridget and Clara came out and watched Tangled, Saturday night was the Moroney side at Mom and Dads', Sunday morning Easter Bunny, Church, Baragary Brunch at the Homestead, and last but not least pizza and egg hunt with Grandma and Grandpa Peck. That is a whole lot of commas, but the kids did great and loved looking for eggs!

A Boys Work is Never Done

Spring is here which makes everyone happy in the Peck Household! Kyle has taken a special liking to spring because it means extra time with his Dad and Bappa. He wants to be outside with them any chance he gets. He stands at the window shrieking and screaming their names when he seems them come or go. He has spent more time in the seed shed than any where else all spring!

"I am not so sure these are tight enough Bappa" -I have no doubt Kyle will not how to "really" tighten these straps by the age of 3!

Because of Kyle's wanting or thinking he "needs" to be around his Dad and Bappa so much we are putting a fence up to keep him safe! Because the second he sees or hears anything with wheels he is off to the races! Fred actually has to drive around the back of the yard with the Ranger so Kyle doesn't see him. And if he doesn't get to go....watch out! He has a HUGE fit! The other day Bappa stopped in and Kyle grabbed his shoes and hat, when he found he didn't get to go...he threw himself in the closet and screamed and cried for 10 minutes...and it is a very sad cry!

Kreighton's New Word!

Kreighton has learned a new word...it is not really one that her father and I are proud of! We pulled into our house on Thursday and Kreighton blurts out "what in the hell is Mama Marilyn doing here" I tried not to laugh and explained in a calm but firm voice that we do not use that word! She has used it again wondering "why the hell don't we have a red barn when we live on the farm?" She kept saying "what the hell Mom that is silly we need a red barn!" Then she realized what she had said and said "Ok Mom I will go to timeout and try not to say that word! I guess I got my point across...but it is still funny to hear your 3 year old use that word!

Clara visits Iowa!

Last week Clara was in Iowa all week! The kids were so excited to have her here...I made a mistake of telling Kreighton a week before she got here that she was coming because that is all we talked about for a week! We had so much fun with her visiting (and it got me ready for 3 kids). Kyle enjoyed having her here and wanted to make sure she always had her, bottle, passy, and blanket. But he would also take her passy, hide it, wait for her to cry, and then run and find it...give it to her and then look at me like he should be rewarded for finding it! And he did have a break down when Grandma Sharon came and got her and took her....Kyle really wanted her to stay with us! Clara also got to go to Will's school and meet his friends and Grandma Sharon's work.
