SEMI

The farm bought a semi truck to help deliver seed, and it has made for one happy little boy when he gets to ride along.  When he hears the semi start up he runs towards the shed shouting "Wait for Me" "Wait for me"

Kael even went for a ride...just from the house to the shed...
I drive Mommy I drive

I think Fred and Glen will have a co-pilot whenever they are willing to take him!

Sandbox

Bappa Craig promised the kids a sandbox this summer...and he came through on this promise!

I am expecting/hoping that this keeps Kyle busy all summer!

Don't ask me why Kyle is wearing socks on his hands and has no other clothes on!

I think Kael is going to get Sissy's complexion

Helping Bappa...he was excited little boy!

Outside

So of course we are enjoying this awesome weather we have been having in Iowa! The kids and I love it...it seems that the kids fight a lot less when they are outside!  Kyle loves his gator...I mean LOVES he drives around on it all day bringing stuff to me he finds in the yard and loves giving his sister rides and Kreighton is very awesome big sister and lets Kyle always drive.  Last week when Lindsay Beyer was here Kyle gave Lindsay and Kreighton rides down the playground so their feet did not get all wet from the grass!

Driving in cowboy boots and underwear is way more fun!

I am not sure I will get sandals on this kid all summer!

Kreighton is all the sudden my little poser and loves getting her pictures taken

Ranger Rides from Bappa are the best!

Minnesota!

Last weekend Kelly and I and the 4 older kids took off for Minnesota to visit the Tetzlaffs and meet New Baby Elania!  The kids did great on the way up...Kelly and I were equipped with portable DVD players and Kindles to keep the kids entertained on the way!  Which reminded us of when Kelly and I took family vacations together growing up we had nothing of the sort!  We were expected to keep ourselves entertained!  I think that is why did our family vacations together!  So we could entertain each other!  Fred, Mom, and Kael came up Friday so we could spend time with the Moroneys and snuggle Baby Nolan. Then we stayed in hotel with the Sullivans, and before we left we spent time with the Quirings!  Busy but very fun weekend!

Rock band!

Everyone was involved

I am guessing their Fathers would not agree with the length of these skirts!

Kreighton Story....

I told Kreighton that Lindsay Beyer was coming over to play for a whole day and Kreighton was beyond excited to have her come!

So yesterday Kreighton woke up complaining of a tummy-ache and I thought maybe she was coming down with something so I told her if she really did not feel well she would not have to come to preschool.  She seemed ok with it and then asked when Lindsay was coming and I told her not until tomorrow.  She looked at me and said "oh." "Well I thought Lindsay was coming today so that is why I told you my tummy hurt." Then she proceeded to say "I knew you would let me stay home from school and I wanted to play with Lindsay all day."  I wasn't really for sure how to handle this, 1st she attempted to lie to us but then was brutally honest!  So we obviously sent her to school and told her she couldn't lie to us!

I am not sure what the future holds for us with Kreighton....I can't imagine what stories she will come up with the older she gets!

Catching up with Kreighton....

This one is all about Kreighton!  She is my very typical 4-year old girl!

-She loves to draw and draw and gets very upset if she finds any of her "drawings" in the recycle bins
-She loves to change her clothes throughout the day
-She does so good playing with Kael and loves to help out as much as she can!
-She and Kyle play very well together, but they also fight very well together!
-She loves being with her friends!
-She just got done playing soccer which she loved but by the last night she was ready to be done!
-She still naps about 3 times a week
-She is getting her 3rd set of tubes next week
-She can be pretty sassy and we are working on not giving her father and I "attitude"
-She LOVES getting her picture taken

Why Not....

Why not on March 13th wouldn't the kids be able to be outside playing in mud with only a shirt on and not be cold!

Another Sleepover

The Beyers spent the night...Chris was gone and Jayme and I always talked about having a sleepover so it seemed like a perfect time to do it!

All the kids had fun and Kreighton and Kyle loved having extra kids here to play with!  And I was highly impressed that Jayme got all FOUR of her girls to sleep in the same room...my kids would have woken each other up at all hours of the night!

I have no doubt these 3 will be so MAD and Jayme and I for 1. putting them in the tub together  2. taking a picture of it and 3. putting this picture out at their graduation party!

All snuggled in watching a movie!

It was a great night and Jayme and I even got to leave after all the kiddos were asleep to try and watch the Iowa State game but After Hours didn't carry the channel either!

Picnic Supper

Fred was getting in late so I decided it would be easier to have a "picnic supper" on our living room floor.  Honestly it was because I needed more time to get supper ready so I needed to keep the kids busy by asking them to "help" getting everything ready!

The kids setting everything out!

Kael getting into everything!

So he got put in his "cage"

Poor Kael!

Yummy Supper!
