Today Kreighton and I were able to go swimming (without the boys) Fred had work to do in the office so he said he would stay with them during naps so Kreighton could swim and not have to leave when her brothers wanted to! PLUS Sara and Laynee Hogan were also there so Kreighton had someone to play with! After swimming for over an hour Kreighton started crying about her ear so I decided to take her to the doctor...and they were able to get me in in Manchester so we swam for a little longer (Kreighton just did not go under water) then we went and got a smoothie and stopped to see Great Grandma and Grandpa. Then off to the Dr's office...where we saw a Nurse Practitioner Kristen (who I used to baby-sit for) and yes her ears were full of blood and infection-yuck! And possibly a ruptured ear drum! So I feel terrible for Kreighton but she was a super trooper! On the way home she tells me she is so tired and fell asleep immediately! When we got home I left her sleeping in the van for a few minutes and told Fred to go and get her....Fred found her and the van covered in throw up....oh yes not only does she have a double ear infection she also has the flu!
Bring her in the house...wash her up while Fred is trying to clean the van Kreighton is crying because she does not feel well, Kyle is crying because he wants to be by Kreighton and Kreighton does not want to be by him and Kael is crying because he wants more food....AHHH so Kyle says he will help Kael Kyle stops crying and soon Kael stops crying....problem solved right??? Well then I get Kreighton cleaned check on Kael...Kyle got him to stop crying by giving him more cottage cheese (super sweet right) however he gave him the WHOLE tub of cottage cheese and now Kael is covered from head to toe in cottage cheese! Yes one of those nights....however Kreighton is resting nicely, Kael is sleeping, and Kyle is out working with Daddy!
