Gymnastics Meet/Tractor Museum

Playing catch-up...again! 

The kids had their 1st gymnastics meet at Rock Island it was a ways away BUT the John Deere Tractor Museum is in the same area so we thought we could double up! We had to get up VERY early and leave...but we had things packed and ready to go!

Kyle and Kreighton ready to go!

Kyle did great...he only had one pass which was forward roll x 3, straddle roll, and then forward roll. He did great....toes pointed, straight legs and arms. He was the only one in his group so he got first....but his score did beat some of the older boys!

Kreighton ready to go...she did great and did the same pass and Kyle but also does a back pass. She also did great but her one foot went off the mat which is a MAJOR deduction! And pretty much ruined her score!

She got 6th...which was last...she was a little sad and tried to hold back the tears....I felt bad for her but a lesson learned!

It was a great 1st meet the kids had so much and we learned a lot! I do feel like it is a great thing for the kids to do....I feel like it teaches them so much! We cannot wait for the next one! 

Next up Tractor Museum! 

We took the kids almost 4 years ago! Which means Kreighton was the same age and Kael is now!

Age 4....I think she must have just given herself a haircut! And still has the same smile!

And 4 years ago he hung out for part of the time in the car seat! How did I ever have a baby this little!
