Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving weekend....so I did not do a good job of taking pictures....oops! Wagners were home and the kids loved getting to play with them all weekend!  I really thought I had a cute picture of Kreighton and Tommy but cannot find it anywhere!
We went to Thanksgiving at the Monti Hall which of course the kids loved....lots of cousins and lots room to play what more could you ask for!

Some of the cousins....on my phone so not that clear!

A little better
Kael Peck, Owen Kress, Maci Burton, Kreighton Peck, Hayden Burton, Kyle Peck (in his vest....he said "Mom if Lydia saw how handsome I am  today I think she would want to marry me right away")
Back Row
Lucy Krebsbach, Alice Krebsbach, Tate Krebsbach and Parker Kress

At Grandam Marilyn's....after the Hawks Lost....I did however have Tommy cheering on the Hawks!

Sunday we had a little surprise for the kids....we have talked about getting a dog for a while and thought it would be fun to surprise the kids Christmas morning....but there was no one that was willing to hold one so we found this one Craigslist in Kalona so we decided to take the drive and pick one out...we did not take the kids....decision making is not really Kyle's thing...he would have changed his mind 20 times and then change it again the next day! And then the name....that would have been a whole other fiascal Kreighton would have wanted to name the puppy "Star" and Kyle would have wanted to name the puppy "Bull" or "Batman" so we decided it would be easier for Fred and I to pick it out and name it!  Sooooo here he is "Gus"

He is an Australian Cattle Dog with some Border Collie

Fred and the kids made him a quick cage

The boys loved it!

And Kreighton was not about to be outdone by her brothers!

He is an outside dog....well in the heated shop but Kreighton was not feeling well this day so I let Kreighton bring him in to snuggle!

He is a good pup and he stays in the shed....but we can leave him out during the day and he does not run away....the kids love going out in the shop to play with him and let him chase them.
